Megan Mead
Veterinarian
Dr. Megan MacIntyre grew up in North East Ohio on a small farm with horses, dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, goats, rabbits and various other small critters. She competed heavily in 4-H animal projects and showed her dogs and sheep in national competitions.
She fell in love with Western NY while performing her undergraduate studies at SUNY Fredonia where she earned her B.S. in biochemistry. She then pursued her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys working with both large and small animals, with a special interest in small ruminant medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Megan competes in dog sports, mainly agility, enjoys hunting, photography, and reading. She enjoys spending time with her fiance, Brandon, their three Australian Shepherds “Danica,” “Mêlée,” and “Ripley,” Golden Retriever “Lyric,” Labrador Retriever “Hank,” and Treeing Walker Coonhound “Remington.”
